MAMMOET says one of its clients is expanding its Albian Sands upstream facility, which processes mined oil sand into a pipeline transportable liquid.
According to Mammoet, it started working on this project in August 2007. The scope of the work includes transporting and erecting some 310 oversized loads ranging from tanks and pipe modules right up to 450t vessels.
The manufacturer says it has a range of cranes, trailers and other equipment on site to cover all the client’s needs. To date, it has transported TSRU columns with a diameter of 11m which, with all the equipment had a total combined weight of 726t.
